Opportunities for Gulf-based GPs to work for HUC

A leading NHS provider delivering integrated urgent care across the UK, HUC is keen to engage with any clinicians who have already undertaken sessions for us or who might be interested in doing so in the future.

Firstly, thank you to anyone reading this who has already undertaken shifts for HUC. While we very much hope you will continue to do so, we also wanted to make other Gulf-based GPs aware of the opportunities we can offer.

Over the past few years, many of you have contributed to our services remotely and / or during visits to the UK. As we expand our clinical services again, we’re keen to reconnect with former colleagues and engage with new GPs interested in working with us – both remotely and face-to-face.

What’s on offer?

We’re currently looking for GPs to support:

  • Remote GP triage
  • UK-based sessions over the summer (July-August), including in-hours and out-of-hours work in Somerset and the East of England
  • Urgent treatment centres
  • GP streaming and validation services
  • Clinical audit support

What’s changed

We’ve taken your feedback seriously. We know delays in approvals and lack of follow-up were issues in the past – so we’ve streamlined our onboarding and are committed to a faster, more responsive process.
