Working in our Out of Hours services as a clinician, you can be assured that in the most challenging times, you can rely on the support of a talented and capable professional cohort.
Our Out of Hours clinicians play a vital part, seeing patients when their own GP surgery is closed, either at a treatment centre or for a home visit. They also help triage patients within our NHS 111 services, ensuring that our patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.
Our Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) is an integral part of our NHS 111 services with a team of clinicians. They provide secondary telephone consultations and early clinical input into the patient’s journey. This will support a clear patient pathway, offering advice, health education and referral as appropriate and help our patients get the right care in the right place at the right time.
