Our non-clinical colleagues out and about, driving our clinicians to go to home visits, stocking medicines or working at one of our treatment centres are essential in helping our patients get the high-quality care we are renowned for.
Our Drivers work in different parts of our services and play a key role including transporting our clinicians on emergency home visiting duties. They also help with carrying equipment, restocking our cars, chaperoning or other face-to-face patient assistance.
Our team rely on them so that they can do a great job. It’s a role where a great personality and great interpersonal skills really matter. Our Drivers make sure that patients get the care they need when they need it.
There are lots of choices in terms of shift patterns. And if colleagues are ready for something new, there is plenty of scope to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills and develop their careers. A successful, expanding business means new career opportunities from within. And any knowledge of the business from the ground up will be incredibly valuable.
Our Receptionists are the face of HUC when patients need to be seen at one of our treatment centres or surgeries. They are the main contact upon arrival, welcoming patients, checking them into their appointments and ensuring they are supported throughout their visit. But that’s not all. Our Receptionists are also there to support our clinicians to help our service run as smoothly and efficiently as it can for the benefit for the patients we see.
Even if our Receptionists are working at a treatment centre as part of a small group of professionals, there is a real sense of community. And ultimately, everyone is part of a team that helps people get high-quality healthcare quickly and safely, potentially when they are at their most vulnerable.
