Meet Angela De-Feo

One of our valued colleagues, Angela De-Feo who is our Safeguarding Officer, recently completed a Safeguarding Level 4 training course. Angela shares her experience and the benefits she gained from this training.

What did your course involve?

The Safeguarding Level 4 training I completed was a two-day course designed for health professionals to build on the knowledge already gained from previous safeguarding qualifications. The course covered skills and competencies through group work, discussions, Q&A’s and presentations.

How did your course benefit you?

The course was a great benefit to me as I had just started my role within HUC. Having the opportunity to complete my level 4 allowed me to have more confidence around safeguarding and develop my skills and knowledge within a health setting.

Why do you think learning and development is good?

It allows you as an individual to not only showcase the skills you already have but also build on the ones you may need to work on.

How have HUC supported your learning and development?

HUC have been great with supporting my learning and development. I was enrolled onto the course within my induction and I have ongoing support from my manager to develop further with other training courses.
