Celebrating our first month in the new Contact Centre: colleagues embrace their exciting new workspace

Our first official month in the new contact centre has been a resounding success! The transition from City Care Centre on Thorpe Road to Sand Martin House in Bittern Way, was smooth, and our Peterborough team has quickly settled into the modern, spacious environment. Feedback from colleagues has been overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting how the new versatile office space has enhanced their work experience.

Shannan Craig, an Auditor and Team Leader based at the new contact centre said: “The new space seems to have made a difference to overall productivity and morale for many and I think this is down to the refreshed look and feel we now have. It’s noticeably spacious and quieter, which enables all colleagues to get on with their work regardless of their role. The open plan arrangement means everyone has sufficient space to work, while also having amenities close by. I enjoy working in the new contact centre, it’s definitely an upgrade from our previous setting.”

The new space offers a perfect blend of comfort and functionality, making it easier for everyone to collaborate and stay productive. The open floor plan space and the designated training areas have been particularly appreciated, providing a welcoming atmosphere that encourages teamworking and an all-around positive and motivating workplace culture.

This is echoed by Carly-Marie Stevens, a dedicated Health Advisor, Auditor, Coach and NHS Pathways Lead Trainer, who said “I can say that it has been amazing to have our own training space, which facilitates better interaction between groups and has allowed us as trainers to have a place we are proud to work and represent.”

“It’s also a very versatile space that’s being utilised by other areas such as Out of Hours, Auditors, and assessment evenings too,” she added.

As we continue to settle in, we’re excited to see how this new environment will inspire even greater collaboration and innovation in the months ahead, and look forward to what’s to come!
