Last week, our Recruitment Manager, Gavin Dunn, and Desktop Support Engineer, Ashleigh Young, had the honour of attending the Open Day at the Mission Ready Training Centre (MRTC) in Bassingbourn Barracks — a truly impressive showcase of the dedication, expertise, and resilience of our nation’s Reservists.

At HUC, our commitment to the Armed Forces community runs deep. As a Covenant signatory, we actively support those who serve or have served, recognising the extraordinary value they bring to our workforce through their leadership, resilience, and teamwork. We are proud to provide a supportive and flexible environment that enables reservists and veterans to thrive in their civilian careers.

“As Armed Forces veterans and proud advocates of the Armed Forces Covenant, we were both inspired and moved by the opportunity to witness the exceptional training, rehabilitation, and welfare provisions that prepare Reservists for deployment,” Gavin said. “From state-of-the-art medical facilities to advanced equipment and the electronic simulated rifle range, every element highlighted the professionalism and readiness of those who serve.”
