April 14: Today we launched a new service for London Ambulance Service (also known as LAS) supporting their NHS 111 provision to help them create better resilience. The pandemic has resulted in higher number of calls than usual for most ambulance services.
The new contract, which was signed with the leading ambulance service in the capital, works towards strengthening our focus on collaboration and partnership.
“The commitment and dedication of both the organisations is commendable. This new contract with LAS demonstrates the excellent reputation HUC enjoys among system partners and the wider NHS in line with our corporate values,” Sarah Robertson Goldsworthy, our Chief Commercial Officer, stated.
Another example of our growing collaborative portfolio was HUC’s acceptance onto the Integrated Urgent Care framework arranged by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (also known as YAS), which provides services to a population of more than 5 million patients across Yorkshire and Humber.
