Ashleigh Young and Sally Booth attend Remembrance Sunday event in Peterborough
Ashleigh Young and Sally Booth attended the Remembrance Sunday event in Peterborough yesterday to lay a wreath on behalf of HUC.
In a show of appreciation and gratitude to all those who have served the country, past and present, Sally and Ashleigh attended the short service at the Bridge Street War Memorial, which was followed by a minute’s silence at 11am, before a service in the cathedral.
HUC's commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Application Support Specialist Ashleigh and Non-Clinical Recruiter Sally have been at the forefront of championing HUC’s commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC), which sees it go the extra mile to support service men and women past and present.
Prior to joining HUC, Ashleigh served for almost 16 years in the 1st Battalion of the Royal Anglian Regiment, undertaking tours in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Northern Ireland, while Sally, whose grandfather fought in World War II and grandmother was in the Women’s Auxiliary Airforce, worked supporting veterans and their families.
