NHS 111
At HUC, we are proud to provide high-quality NHS 111 services to our patient communities. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
NHS 111 is here to make it easier and quicker for patients to get the right advice or treatment they need, be that for their physical or mental health. We can direct you to the best place to get help if you cannot contact your GP during the day, or when your GP is closed
Out of Hours services
Outside normal surgery hours, if you have an urgent healthcare need, our NHS 111 services are there to look after the patient communities we serve.
As a result of your assessment through one of our NHS 111 call handlers, you may be given an appointment at a local Out of Hours treatment centre should this be clinically appropriate.
Cheshunt Minor Injuries Unit
We are proud to provide minor injuries care at Cheshunt Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) for people who live within the community, every day of the year. Experienced colleagues have an x-ray available on site, and our nurses and medical technicians can treat adults and children over the age of 12 months who have a minor injury such as a cut, burn, scald or suspected fracture.
Luton Town Centre Surgery
We are proud to provide primary care services to the local community at the Town Centre Surgery in Luton. We offer appointments from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. In addition to GP, Nurse, Pharmacist and Healthcare Assistant appointments, we offer telephone appointments and clinics and services to help patients manage and improve their health.
Luton Urgent Treatment Centre
We are proud to deliver an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) service on the Ground Floor of the Town Centre Surgery. You can go to an urgent treatment centre if you need urgent medical attention, but it’s not a life-threatening situation.
Access Dental
Working in partnership with primary care organisations, dental practices, and other parts of the local NHS, Access Dental provides high-quality patient-focused services across the South West peninsula.
